Description

Reflections. Finsthwaite Tarn - a little know tarn (Lake) located at the southern end of Lake Windermere.It is also known and appears on some maps as High Dam. There are actually two small lakes here and for those who have the opportunity but have never visited it then the trip is well worth the effort. For the UK guys and girls who know the area this tarn has been said the be on par with Tarn Hows although in my humble opinion I would say Tarn Hows has the edge - slightly. Eddie

Perfection. Rare to find a water surface really like a mirror. (I have a town called Windermere in my neighborhood - though that was a unique name, but it obviously is used on two continents already)
