Description

The Chronos Effect XII by Clio Aristocratos       C1058.jpgWild horses, I thought, how did I ever get into this situation? I looked down at my shorten chiton and bare feet, scratched legs. I was glad there was no mirror nearby; my face must be covered with smears of dirt mixed with my sweat. Yet, in some ways I was happier than I had ever been sitting at my loom or even sitting on the deck of that barge cruising the Nile. I had muscles that I never thought I would have, and doing all of this with Elgon was.. well, the only way to describe it, was fun. Now here I was crouching through the grass about to scare some horses and hoping that this plan would work. It made sense, but what if the horses spooked and ran the other direction. What if they ran right at me? There was no way I could survive a stampede of horses. Elgon gave the sign; I stood up and began to yell (something no proper Athenian woman ever did except at her husband in the privacy of their home) and jump around. The white stallion sounded the alarm and took off
