Description

Hello good friends..it's another nice rainy windy day. Hope all RR friends here in Washington St are doing well and staying out of the flood zones. This is a picture I took on my trip back to Kansas. I grew up just a few house down from the tracks and was going to take pictures of it but my dad told me they remove them years ago and now it's a bike/walking path. So on our way home from dinner one night I saw this track and made my dad pull over for this photo. Trains still run on a few tracks but they are slowly disappearing. If you look up in the right corner you will see something falling from the sky? You see alot of strange things in the sky in Kansas..Who knows it could be Dorothy..LoL Take care of yourselves...Thanks for stopping by,and Thanks for all the warm comments on my last post. :0)bonita

It is a superb capture, Bonita!! Perfect compo and colours!! Do not like to think of you standing on the rails if trains still run.... Like to think a shooting or a falling star is in the right of your shot. Wonderful work. Have a pecfilled eventime and Hugs, dear friend Di.

Wow, this has a mood of its own and colors to match. Very creative to have used the reflection of the tracks at sunset to create these sloping lines. A very big coincidence to have caught the meteorite, excellent!

I love this Bonita, it reminds me of when I was a little girl and there was some tracks a few miles out in the woods behind our house. The sunset on the horizon is beautiful too. Bravo!!
