Description

We have a magnolia tree in our front garden. Not the very well-known tree with the large pink and white flowers but a different variety that has delicate and much smaller white flowers. It blooms in early spring, but in autumn, after it has lost all it's leaves we can already see how many flowers it will have the coming year; the buds are already there. And it always seems that one year of abundant flowers is followed by a year with less flowers (or sometimes even none at all). This year it really had lots of flowers, so we were wondering if it would bloom at all the coming year. I'm glad to say it will. It's only that we will have to wait several months to come, through frost and (maybe) snow before we can see those buds open up to the early spring sun. Have a pleasant weekend! ^_^ Yvonne

Very pretty layering technique on this one. I love the green line lights in the petals and the way the blue texture repeats around the spiral. The colors are beautiful and a nice combination with the pink tinge :)
