Dear Jock, I too am very intrigued as to what it is. By the huge number of color produced by the UV, I'm going to guess some kind of shell - or shells - the top one has a cowry sort of shape. Very unusual and very striking colors. I'm always amazed at the hidden world all around us revealed by a UV lamp!! And if any one could discover the hidden side of something, it would definitely be you, my friend!!! Excellent work!!!! Love, Meredith
