Hello world,
A new direction from me today, this is from my first lingerie shoot. The story, this is Jade, the make up artist; the model was three hours late, so Jade bravely and kindly stepped in as one could say. The work is for a third year fashion student for her final piece. Could you imagine seeing this on the side of a bus? If so we have done something right, if not feedback to improve will be gratefully received.

Very nicely done. She's a beauty. I've worked for over ten years as a photographer and have had many things published, the only thing that might help this image reach your goal, would be a more diffused lighting (the shadows area bit heavy). But, that is not a criticism. This is a fabulous pic, and I can definately see it on the side of a bus, or a billboard, or in a magazine.

Lighting needs a tad bit of work I think. The shadow play around the upper arm area becomes a bit confused while the lingerie its self is flat for lack of it. As the lingerie is the focus of the study, Id like to see more of its texture and surface, the beauty of the model should be secondary to the beauty and delicate nature of the fabric. Might be interesting to do a hi def rendering of the fabric and do a soft blur of the modelscratch that just a thought.For a first effort, gold star Zak, stay with it.
