Description

....Almost as much as I love blue. :) Been on a blue streak, figured I had to break it somehow. This image came very close to being blue itself, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it, hehe. Told everyone I'd post an example of tweaking with the new Modified Plastic scripts I posted yesterday, and here it is. :) This is all one flame image, (just one flame layer!) processed in psp 9 with the following steps: 1: Put a black background under the rendered transparent .png layer. 2. Duplicate the .png layer. 3. Colorize the bottom .png layer. 4. Set the top .png layer to "Overlay" or "Hard light" depending on which one gives you better highlights. This one happened to be an overlay. 5. Adjust the transparency of the top layer to achieve the desired contrasting effect. 6. Merge all layers and apply a "Soft Focus" filter effect to make it "glow." 7. Brighten up the highlights on the "orbs" using the lighten/darken tool or the dodge tool. AMAZING WORK SO BEAUTIFUL. PURPLE IS MY FAVORITE TOO. I WISH I KNEW WHAT ALL THOSE INSTRUCTIONS WERE. I WOULD LOVE TO RENDER SOMETHIN EVEN HALF AS GOOD. I WOULD LOVE TO MAKE SOME BACKGROUNDS FOR MY ANGELS. MORE PLEASE.
