Description

"We went down to the engine of the earth We went down to the edge of meaning We went down to the roots of experience My eyes were opened My heart was lifted My sense was twisted And I was forever wounded." The words are from a track on a cd by Afro Celt Sound System, and inspired this image. They sound different in the gaelic, but I guess not many would understand them. A pure bryce render. All textures, with the exception of the poser fig and the background are bryce from the dte. The background was generated by using a fractal from Belle1947 mirrored and then used to generate a lattice. I the used the fractal image itself as a texture. Thanks Belle.

Very strange image, this. Searing through the eyes to burn the cortex. I need a scotch. Q

I have often wondered what they said and felt it was Gaelic, as I almost but not quite recognized it. My Grand parents spoke it but being young didn't have any desire to learn. Of course now I would love to but the syntax is beyond my tired old brain. They are one of my favorite groups. Terrific scene. Thanks BJ
