A wonderful picture that has a story to tell. It is one of your best pictures I much prefer A Rainy Day to Sad Street I think you have given your original idea that extra dimension that it needed. All of your work is excellent of course, but for me,this picture has more poetry and artistic merit than your other creations. Well done I hope you produce more pictures in this spirit.

This is fantastic. The water in the gutters is the xtra touch that makes the whole scene real. great atmo too, and a powerful mood. 5+++++

A beautiful image. I especially like the way you've kept all the colors muted (no red brake lights on the B&W cruiser, etc.), your wonderful puddles, the birds and the gestures/body language of the figures. Excellent POV and composition too. I'm bothered by 2 little things: The least is the interference of the street light and cable in the upper right. It's visually confusing to no purpose. The most is how the person carrying the umbrella is holding it. Not very realistic. With the rain falling as it is, they would get drenched and feel the rain on the back of their neck - so they would hold the umbrella more back behind them. Sorry to nitpick, but the devil IS in the details. Still a wonderful image though - keep up the great work!
