The deep red and yellow tones are comforting to say the least. Fire gazing, now that is something we in Africa still do a lot and it has a direct influense on the talkative state and the number of years memories are brought back from. Not very easy to capture perfectly and I think you did.

I have a little heater blowing on my feet right now and this photo helps me warm up all the more. Will almost be freezing tonight here, so I am chilled already and you know how well I like the cold. ;-) Wonderful shot!

Very nice. I did some flames as well some time back and it was great fun. We don't have a fireplace in this house but I hope at some time to get a wood burning stove and put it in my back room. We had a fireplace when I was young and lived in the north so I really miss having that nice radiating warmth. Good shot.
