"Though I might travel afar, I will meet only what I carry with me, for every man is a mirror. We see only ourselves reflected in those around us. Their attitudes and actions are only a reflection of our own. The whole world and its condition has its counter parts within us all. Turn the gaze inward. Correct yourself and your world will change."

Great shot! Has a kinda cute quality to it :P I'm not sure about the eye being cropped like that though kinda ruins the shot it some ways for me.... Other than that it's a stunning high key photo! :) Thanks for sharing! ;)

Yeah i agree about the eye cropping. But that is gorgeous and great use of selective colouring. Did you know our genre challenge this month is Portrait? Maybe you should enter.

Indeed the high key and selective coloring yields wonderful results, very pleasing!

Up to now I really loved all of your pics of Tanis. My personal favourite one remains Nr. 1 though. Again: Very nice selective coloring and the high key contrast is really fitting. Awesome work baby. I love you

oh wow! i love this picture... it looks amazing. i didnt notice the eye cropping before i read the other comments, maybe full eye would look better but nontheless it looks awesome the way it is!

Oh my, as for me, the best of the three Tanis photos! Those blue/purple eyes contrast beautifully with the rest of the face, which is basically black and white. Great facial expression, and lighting effect with virtually no shadow. Now, on the negative side, you could have done without the eye crop....meaning, unless the original shot showed both eyes fully, you'll have to take the picture all over again!

Wonderful portrait. Love those eyes and lips with the selective coloring.
