A bit late for a comment maybe but I wasn't here last year. Your image has come back up with the upcoming contest this year and what a welcome sight it is! If you haven't already come across the work of Arthur Rackham give him a look see. This work is very reminiscent of his style -- a very difficult one to emulate and a very wonderful one too. Great job on this piece from concept to execution, and if you were inspired by Rackham, very good, and if you've never come across him, fan-bloody-tastic, spectacular!
