modeled in Cinema4d but rendered in Vue 5 (my first test). Sadly, I like its render engine more than C4D's...
OK, maybe I would have better posted it in Vue's gallery, but i'd like comments from C4D's people! :-)

This looks really great. If only Vue wasn't so damn instable I would use it's render engine more often. Lovely to see what it can do besides rendering entire ecosystems. :)

nicely done. wouldn't want to drink it though, looks like someone already did, lol! As far as render engines, I have Vue 5 infinite and C4D with Finalrender,AR and Maxwell. I am torn on all the render engines as all have their pro's and con's. I usually stick with C4D's native AR engine and sometimes use FinalRender. Maxwell has become too much of a pain. I agree 100% with my friend Sabra there though, Vue can be WAY too unstable to rely on. Also, it almost always looks too grainy for me. There are many many rendering options out there. But that involes money and time learning each one. I would just go with what you are comfortable with and what look you like... nice work though ;) -chachi
