Description

Actually, this is not a restaurant. It's just a tavern frequented by tourists in the center of the city of Ghent, Flanders, Belgium. In the (historical) Meat House hams are hanging out to dry from beams - Drip, drip, drip. I actually had to dodge the drips entering one way and exiting the other. No wonder the patrons are sitting way in the back, away from the hams. (The blurred image is not due to my camera settings - it must be the humidity inside the place and the heatwave outside. That, or any other excuse.)

How odd for them to hang hams from the beams.... I would think they would have an old smokehouse or something Reminds me of something I would see here in my antique litte town I think I would sit way back in the back...and I would be sure to order a slawburger with cheese and fries and a Mountain Dew Nice to meet ya as well and hope you come visit me Susan~

Interesting title. I look at the image and think: This don't look too dang bat to rate a title like that. THen I thinks: the SERVICE must be 'orrible! ;-) Looks a good place to find a brew.
