Description
Faces from two different worlds - one from a modern advertisement and the other is from a photo of one of my ancestors (we believe it's great-granny).
Change of name - I chose the cat's name (jasmine) for my original website, email and works. Bit naive of me, considering some of the emails I've received over the years ...
And since I'm male it has proved confusing for many!
Change of name. My own (Shaun) was already used, so I couldn't have that.
So the new alias is in memory of one of my mother's favourite hymns "Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam".
Well, we try to keep cheerful and make people happy!

Nice little story .... Jasmine was a bit confusing [particularly since it's a granddaughter's name] A Sunbeam ... nice and whimsical. In the Whit Walks [a North-West English tradition] whilst a young teenager I held the Sun symbol surrounded by 'God's Little Sunbeams': little girls each attached by a ribbon to the Sun [papier mache and tissue paper on a stout pole]The picture is very nicely done - probably put me in a nostalgic mood! Another great contrast in time. The vertical line created the fleeting illusion that the young lady may be imprisoned in the present.
