My name is Luis Conte, 42 year old, I live in Murcia (Spain)a very sportiv man all my life and now teach Physical Education in the university, I had studied Geography and History and Physical Education. After many years making pictures, but not really knowledge about that, I trying now to learn more seriously that. I love the nature, animals and the Macro world of pictures, very interesting POV. I learn many about the great pics i see in this web and also about the comments of others photographers put in my pics.

These switches were just before my time and memory. I have seen them before but even as a very small child, my grandmother's house had been refitted with the swtich we are now familiar with. Nice piece of history you've captured and you did it very well.

I remember them quite vividly in both of my grandparents homes. And when the wall came down in germany - you could see these in eastern germanies homes all over the place. The nice thing is - that these little details make so cool photo subjects. Thanks for sharing!

I have seen in very old houses here, but it would be hard to find now. in the Filipines they are still being used in old homes
