Description

This one is for a friend. She wrote a beautiful book, and I thought to create something for her to compensate the very good read. I hope she'll appreciate. Technical tidbits: modeling training. It was a bet with myself, trying to make an object from a cube and nothing more. Here's the result. The shoe is a single mesh. It's all polygons, edges and points pulling here and there. Then duplicated, symmetrized and rendered (2 hours, then a bit of postwork in Photoshop, mostly to adjust brightness). An HDRI render of the shoes is on the make. Thanks a lot for passing by. I wonder how many remember the first one? Fun to watch you go! I would have fun with the 3D text, and try some more fonts, this one is good but I'm sure there is an ideal one somewhere. Can't wait to see more!
