Description
Did a stock '57 so I'd have one to set along side my "Project '57" Hot Rod.

I built the body for a hot rod project (see in my gallery), but after I finished the hot rod I decided I needed to build a stock version of the car to set along side the hot rod, (those renders will be up next week hopefully). So I built a simple interior and chassis pan to put under the body. This model doesn't have the full chassis and engine detail I usually do. I'm a hot rodder at heart and I think building "stock" versions of cars is boring. The color to me, is just a '50s kind of blue. The car was rendered "floating in air" and then the back drop and shadow was added in PhotoShop post work (I also turned-up the saturation in the color and used the "Sharpen" filter).

Well, stock car modeling, once you get to certain models and vintages becomes less boring, I think. I've owned one of these once and a friend is now restoring one. Nice job.

I need just a couple shots of a 57 chevy that I plan on doing sometime in this year. Outside of your car looks fantastic. Does the doors and trunk open? I'm hoping to show boxes in the trunk. I'm hoping you can tell me where I can get a model of this... please contact me.
