If you harbor any romantic notions about the simple life, here in rural China are a half-billion reasons to be grateful for the abundant lives that we get to lead instead.
Fishermen spend their nights in these lakeside tents in Yunnan province, China, by day pulling the oars and gleaning whatever they can from the waters while the weather permits.

If you have to be poor, this is a lovely view- Fresh air, strong labor so you can sleep good at night. I am not so sure that the pampered life is so good for people and their health. Sorry to blab- Nice photo!
