Description

Vue and Photoshop. I created this one almost two years ago, and was pretty pleased with the result. In August of this year, I revisited it, and changed a few things. I applied Global Illumination (let's face it, you really can't use GR unless you've got a screaming computer and a fleet of cows to render it). I'd always wanted to put fallen leaves into a scene, but when I'd first done this one, I didn't have any idea how to do it. This time, I took five photographs of fall leaves, put them on alpha planes, then used ecosystem to scatter them onto the road. It may not be visible at this scale, but on the 24' x 30' giclees I'm printing, the effect was very pleasing.
