Have an ancestor w/ that name! She was the only woman of her time to wear, (gasp!) pants! She ran a farm alone, drank w/ the boys at the pub. And used a shillelagh to the best advantage! No one messed w/ Maeve! I had forgotten that bit of family trivia! Although every heroine I've ever written has been named Maeve! Thanks. BJ
