Tuffest things I have ever done:
Long's Peak, 1998 Ride the Rockies, with bronchitis.
Wolf Creak pass 1991 with bike trunk full of rocks.
I like Rederosity because:
I can see great art and sometimes tips on how it was done.
Lots of creativity and talent on display
I can share my efforts and get upbeat, helpful comments, warn fuzzies, and real suggestions on how to do better.
I can lend my eyes and mind two others, critically view their work, and make suggestions which may enable them to progress even further along a talent and skill path which seems to be without bounds.
Did I mention all the creativity and talent?
I want it all, your art, your comments, and your respect darn it!

She is a natural beauty. Very lovely art!

Hey, her skin is great! I like the bump effect (is it a bump or just the texture?) and her pin-up pose! The rose is a nice added detail!

Yup! She's a beauty alright!!! Excellent skin tex, nice bumpmap :) Damn that RDNA Rose, when I try to use it all I get is the bud! No stalk and no leaves!! It used to work, but not any more :(

Bump made is self made, just noise in PhotoImpact, however even though it is a large image of tiny random black-gray dots, it always seems to make large skin pores. I dialed down the srength some for this render, but still feel like a rank beginner when it comes to skin bump maps and settings. Hence the softening post process work, and attempt to improve the skin at least a bit. Many folks here are just so great at post processing, I have lots to learn. I guess one must learn by doing, ehh? My 1st attempt at this render was at 3600x2400 pixels, and with partially tranlucent hair, skin set to reflect, and shadows on 4 lights set to raytrace. After over 24 hours render was only 19% done and I desided to give up. This was re-rendered with much lower pixel/trans/reflect/shadow settings and made it in under an hour! ;-) Now you know . . .

Geez Mike, I didn't realize I was so far behind with visiting your gallery! Lots of great images I've missed, sorry my friend! Your character is both sexy and innocent which I happen to like a lot! LOL You lost me with the technical info about the skin bump maps and stuff, I've been using one of those Unimesh Realism Kits and modifying the depth of the bump maps it creates. Of course I just turn the dial and render a small section until I get what I like. I don't really know what I'm doing! LOL You did a beautiful job here, however you did it!
