Nice, though it could almost be a screen shot from Celestia itself, as the 3ds Discovery textures seem default. Discovery ended up in orbit at the Jupiter/Io L1 point, so its orbit could at times seems to be taking it 'away' from Jupiter. A few suggestions - in Celestia, increase the visible magnitude of the background stars and turn on nebulas, galaxy etc. so you get a more textured background. Consider using one of the more detailed texture sets for Jupiter. Look for an unusual POV that generates more interest than the simple ecliptic beauty shot. It would be relatively easy to feature Io, the pod, or even TMA-2 in the scene, and this is easy to set up using Celestia's 'Lock" command. In Studio, perhaps crop the picture so there is less empty space. Make use of the metallic shaders within DS to bring those rather flat default textures to life. The lighting seems lopsided when you compare Jupiter and the ship: either Discovery's albedo has just shot through the roof or you need to decrease your lighting in DS. And depending on the 'now' of your concept, consider editing the 3DS to move the antennae from the default position. Its nice to see Discovery again. I spent one of the happiest half hours of my adult life enraptured by the two metre scale model used in the film when it was exhibited at the Kubrick exhibition in Frankfurt.

I think the Discovery could do with a bit more shadow on it. Other than that, it's a great picture.

Effective artwork that puts us out in the void of frigid space near Jupiter with the spaceship, HAL, and crew. . . Excellent!

Great space scene...that spacecraft is awesome !!! It would also look terrific if you could make it darkish blue or greyblue or something...The combination with a starry sky would be awesome... Great image !!! Wel done...!!!
