Description

The theme in 2D Forum this month is Transitions. Here the Winter Fairy makes the transition from Autumn to Winter. She pulls the white cover over the ground. It has not come to us in Southern Sweden yet, but in the North the snow already is there. So I still wait for this transition with mixed feelings. On one side, it is beautiful, and lightens up the darkness of the world this time of the year, but on the other side: I hate to wrap me up in thick clothes, and I miss sitting out in my garden without freezing my butt off :-) Thanks for viewing and maybe commenting. Some glowing gold in the glittering snow - looks amazing, beautiful. I'm so fascinated by the texture. Wonderful work, Gun! :-)

This is a beautiful depiction of the coming winter, and such a charming story of a fairy pulling a blanket over the land. Beautiful leaves. I particularly love the skeleton section of the leaf over the fairy's eye, and the glistening of the snow.
