Description

The chase. Involves not one, but two or more participants. Usually, one of the participants is not aware of the chase, at which time when the unaware suddenly realizes it is the chase it becomes serious. The one doing the chasing, usually, tries not to let the one being chased know that a chase has begun. However, when the one being chased makes it known, on purpose or by actions, that a chase is on does it become necessary for the chaser to become most earnest in its effort to catch the chasee. Of course, there is always the possibility that the roles could suddenly and unexpectedly reverse. At which time the chaser is irrevocably the unfortunate and typically the doomed chasee.
