Description

Here are a few of the trees we found on our hike on sunday..as you can see we found the fabled Penis tree..and seeing it is not erect i can post it here..most of the trees we found this time were from about 300 to 600 years old..one of the ones we found last week is at least 1200 years old.still dont have a good Photo of that one..we named it the "MorFar tree" after our lost loved one, "Cai".All total in the last 3 weeks we have found around 40 ancient trees. Its like a treasure hunt..i got the fever..There are 5 creeks that feed the main creek in this part of the park,we have only investigated 1 creek and ridge so far..More to come..

Amazing trees. So beautyfull and majestic. This really blows me away. Here in europe we have just the "normal" trees. Would love to see more of them. The one whith the penis is funny. LOL And you really think they would cencored here a tree? LOL They would.

Ah, the bearded one in his own magic forest, how tremendous. Those giants are almost unearthly supreme. The fact that you love them so makes this pretty special.

Gorgeous photos Bill, It kinda makes me home sick for the redwoods. I use to live in Crescent City a long time ago and went into the redwoods every chance I had...(0: ~R~

Thanks for bringing back some great memories have camped there with my family. My brother still does from time to time so if you see a grey hair ent with a battery powered air mattress it is probably him. Beautiful images Bill :)

Amazing trees Bill, and beautiful photos of them! It's really good to have someone standing beside the trees so we can get a real perspective of how huge they are! Fabulous photos! I want to come back and look at these when I get my new monitor! Fav!

That must have been one grand hike; my nonexistent Envy Bone is making itself felt once again. Whereabouts is this magnificent forest, Bill? My older son is visiting friends in northern California and had sent us some redwood photos a few weeks back.
