"As a brilliant shaft of dawn sunlight illuminates the dear ones he has to leave behind, the weary traveller sets out yet again......" Oh, what pains you ave taken to give us this amazing illustration! Rich in detail, and I love the warm colours against the cool, dark, bg. Unique lighting, too. It's my wallpaper, now, love it!

Ahh... Gemmell's "waylander" springs to my mind when seeing this (ok... sure it isn't him, but the feeling is that! ;)!! :D Very cool fantasy scene and quite a show for this outfit - love the feeling of "leaving behind" and the deadly look of the warrior!! uhh... one thing tho -- psstt... the hawk, man... i would shoo him away... you might never know... he might not be a pigeon, but they're all birds... erm... that armor looks new... uh... ;P
