Well the sun aint shining in Sweden either. But were getting rain instead of snow so i reckon we should be grateful for that....unless you like snow then our weather is pretty depressing as well. This is a really cool looking shot though. It looks so damn isolated from the rest of the world....as i suppose it is in a way. And i really like the way the road is winding. Excellent photography, especially considering the circumstances. Keep warm! #:o)

Brrr! Ok, I'll stay in Paris, it's about 8C and alternate showers and sunny periods! Great shot, but please don't take pics anymore while driving! it's dangerous, especially on those slippery roads!

Except for the mountains this reminds me of North Dakota, which I have been to precisely one time. It is very flat, and during my visit there was not a lot of snow, not a lot of wind, but the temperature was negative 60! (negative 50 for the rest of the world). Iceland doesn't get that cold, does it? I'm thinking the ocean in general and the gulf stream must warm it up a bit, or at least keep it out of the negative 50/60 range. Oh, nice picture too!

Its getting the same on the higher roads here in North East Scotland, two climbers died after getting caught in whiteout over he weekend on the mountains just 20 miles away. When the wind shifts from the North we share the weather with Iceland, but because of the Gulfstream we do not have total snow and ice all Winter, unlike Norway . I like your photo ,it is good to see views of the wetter days.
