Description

Hi RR citizens!
I've been a little absent, but I needed to take a break and catch up with work - hope all understands. I have been silently browsing some galleries though, just to keep up with whats happening! Anyway... here's just a couple of flowers (not a clue what they are or if they even are flowers). I would like to thank each person visiting my gallery and commenting on: - Dropart - Feel free to leave any wise-cracks here as well, if ya wanna!
Have a happy day / eve!

Ouchy indeed! Don't want to munch on one of those. :) I understand busy, but know that we miss seeing you around here.

Cool shot, and an unfriendly looking plant! I like the gradually increasing depth of field, very cool!

If i had to try to identify that plant id say its a piranha-thistel or something...if there is such a plant that is. Sure looks like a sharp one though. Beautiful photo, crisp and clear with great DOF. And i totally love that purple in the back. Nice to see you again! Have a wonderful day and please stop by whenever youre not too busy. Workman

Thistle while you work! Great macro with fine definition. Kinda look like artichoke hearts, but they ain't. Speaking of being away, I goofed on my photo upload today and hard core, hard nose Renderosity won't let me post again until tomorrow! What a huge loss for everyone!!!

I like this shot, the thistle thingies have a nice mix of green/red color and smooth appearance, and look almost peaceful until you notice the little spines all over the place. They look almost like something out of a sci-fi movie, Day of the Spine-a-MaBobs or something like that. I need to get out and take some more pictures, just we're starting into Winter here in the states and my job is at it's busiest time of the year so I'm finding a real press for time. Maybe this weekend.....

They might be itchy but they make a nice subject! I think that the fantastic blur of colors in the background really make the shot.
