I'm on a big Victorian-Era kick, and here's the first result.

Nice light and shade against the overall woodcut effect, and good atmospherics all around. The full glare on the outside transom window seems distracting to me. It pulls at the eye too much. A bit more transparency might be in order. So, how long will it take you to illustrate the graphic novel version of "Little Dorrit" in this style? ;)
