so is this where eiderdown comes from? ;) What a weird (fat) shaped head this species has. Great shot, but yes the blur is just distracting :(

I must admit when I did the blur I though it might be too much, I was using it to try and loose the distractions around such a beautiful bird

this is an excellent shot, he is looking his handsome best. however, i agree with the comments about the blur, though i did not notice it at first. maybe you could crop it a bit instead ?
