Description

Earthers had colonized Anchuron III for almost 300 years. Although they introduced many new fauna and flora, they also tried hard to preserve the indigenous life forms of the planet. For the most part, they were successful. One of the more spectaculr successes, in Radasa's mind, were the Zorr. They were huge organic balloons that floated through the skies, letting the winds carry them where they would. However, they were capable of self propulsion, when needed. Radasa had been fascinted by the huge creatures in their many forms ever since she was a little girl. When the Amaroh chases the Chat through the northern autumn skies, during the annual comet swarm, the great sky beasts began their annual migration to the northern polar regions to give birth and procreate. As an adult, Radasa liked to leave her small city and head far enough into the Anchuron wilderness to be free of the artificial lights of humankind. She always selected a hill small enough to be an easy climb, yet high enough to have its summit poke above the thick pre-dawn mists. In the hours before first light, she would climb the hill and find a comfortable spot to view the Zorr. The best time to watch, was just as the dawn began to crack open the darkness. The light made the Zorr easier to see in the dark skies, yet left the sky dark enough to see the comets. Radasa would watch for hours, scanning the skies until full daylight. When the comets faded into the brighting day, and only the Zorr were left floating above her, Radasa would fix a quick breakfast and then go back to her viewing of the Zorr. ******************************************************** Credits: Bryce 5 & 6, Poser 6. Actually , very close to the story and well adapted , i do miss some richness in textures that you have done so well lately, however, darkness takes away the colors , i should not critise

Very moving. Reminds mt of watching night hawks/bull bats here when I was a boy. all gone now. Humans are hard on natural flora and fauna, even in our fantacies. Excellently done my friend.

I like this one very much too! Such a simple idea, really, which I love...just a person watching "birds" go by...but of course they aren't birds but flying squid-thingies (I like the name Zorr very much). Great job my friend! Keep em coming!
