Description

DAQUERREOTYPE -Widely used from the time of 1839 to 1855, the daquerreotype was the first popular form of photography. Images were captured directly onto a think piece of silver-plated copper. Because no negative was produced, copies could not be made, so each photo was unique.... WOW photographs on metal sheets, bet their family photo album weighed a tonne :oD great image and love the sepia tone to this, this would make a great christmas card!!
