This is certainly one of your best Faerie pictures , Dennis - it is magical , to see how you have conveyed the sense of spinning motion by this charming little girl with her beautiful white dress and complexion !

Dear Dennis, Here I go again with more Botticelli - except this time instead of emerging from a scallop shell, Venus is emerging from a pool of "quicksilver!!!" (I thick quicksilver is a heck of lot more romantic sounding that "mercury!") Hmmm - You did a nice job with her shoulders on this pose - and of course, being a guy, you have no idea of what I'm talking about - but there are reasons why the big time ballerinas tend to be much less buxon than this young lady. Trust me - having spent some time in blocked shoes myself and driving a horde of ballet instructors to AA, I well know the difficulty of doing it right when you are "top heavy!" Basically, the choises are move the shoulders or fall on your face!! (I've tried both - moving the shoulders is better!!) Anyway - she is as darling as your previous little gals and I can't wait to see the "final project!" By the way, if you need any help in how NOT to do ballet poses, don't hesitate to call on me!!!!! ;-) Love, Meredith
