Description

Giant Hornbill (Buceros bicornis) This big (and I mean HUGE!) fella gave us quite a scare! He flew up to the front of the cage as we turned the corner walking into the bird park. I almost had a heart attack! Taken at the Umgeni River Bird Park, Durban, Kwazulu Natal, South Africa. Image Copyright (c) Johann Marx. Please do not use without permission.

Gora, I don't actually live in Durbs, we went there on holiday. It was a great experience at Umgeni though - even though all of the storks were so aggressive 'cos of mating season that we couldn't go into the stork aviaries :( Still, it was a great experience.
