Description

Book cover for Shatter Scatter by Michelle Levigne. It went slightly different from the original concept that the author wanted, that of a torn photograph part in this world and part in the parallel world, with lighting striking. I think this one works better. It was a royal pain to put together, though, as it basically involved two full-size 14"x9" renders at 300dpi, only to tear appart one of them. But the author loves it, so it's all well. It really gives you a warm, fuzzy glow to get great comments from the author back, and makes it worth it. Credits are mixed. For the forest main scene, most of them are from DAZ: V3, with Arki's Morgan character and skin (at RDNA). April's Spiral Curls (RMP). Luthbel's Wildenlander (highly recommended, at DAZ) for the thights, boots and cloak; a mix of Aery Soul's Hanyma and Black Cherry (RMP) plus plenty of painting for the top. DAZ Environment, Millenium Horse and Equine Textures, all at DAZ. The city scene is from Miki's package (Content Paradise) with some RDNA free materials, and a LOT of materials from Magic Mirror (RMP) to give the slightly reflective surfaces of the granite buildings and cars. And a freebie from Stonemason for the main building in the back. Please do full view, as otherwise the details can be lost; it's bad enough as it is showing a 4800x2800 image at this size! Poser 6 and Photoshop 7. Thank you for viewing and commenting.

To have ripped this in any way would have been sacrilege. It's turned out extremely well, as it happens. Very fine work indeed Michelle. You are very talented. Well done! Steve :o)
