Description
The Migration of the K'Chuthqua (a plant species that shows signs intelligence) is caused by the Bi-Annual storms on this planet. They literally plull their roots out from the cracks in the terrain & move away to drier lands. Im many cases (as shown above) there are situations where they cant escape, as they are isolated on islands. Its quite comical to watch them dance around in circles trying to find a way off:-)
Plant species exported from Vue Inf 5 Alien plant species library. Planet by myself in Mojo.
All rendered in Mojoorld3.1Pro.
There are some UV issues with the plant model.

Ha Ha....love it man!!....Isolated intelligent plants???...Excellent storyline!!..."Evolution" predicts that in time they will first learn to jump...then they will be flying man...^_^...As for the image...this is truly a stunning piece of artwork...Top Notch Woz!!

Awesome modelling work! The colors are simply stunning!

Nice plant life. I like their leaves, although the stems look have a low resolution somehow (not very smooth)

Like the story.. You've created something really quite cool here woz, a vibrant alen landscape with odd life thriving on the surface. A very clear rrender too. would like to see some more, maybe with some other strange vegetation.

Thanks for the feedback all. As you will notice each of the 3 shots from this planet is being tweaked/changed, as I go. This is typical for me. It adds variety but also makes my gallery look like a "mish-mash" with no single style or approach used. @ Jeff - I like the evolution theory, I may implement it :-) @ Slav - Yes your right the model does have problems, I think its a V5i export issue or the fact that I set the export resolution settings too low. As this can be crafted with MJT I may replace the model altogether. @ Oct - Yep, your on my wavelength ...next plans were to introduce more species but I need to also be concerned about the rendertimes & memory loads. This image was a good test that took just over 7hrs (I had bloody re-do blocks on UNNECESSARILY again...doh!). Next shot should have displacement on the water, MJT objects & terrain tweaks (its currently too uniform) :-)

Wonderful artwork. Great addition of the plantlife and cool storyline to go with it all ...hehe!

The addition of water to this place works perfectly for this shot, it gives some excellent reflections. Fine crisp render Warren :)

Now, this is even better than the top-down version. I really like the richness of the colours, and the fact that at first glance you kind of think "is it abstract or real?". Really good work, would make a good poster.
