Description

Yes - you guessed it - I'm in a 'fairy' phase at the moment!!! Recently acquired the fairy outfit, character and hair, and just had to create something with it right away - it took a looooong time to get the colouring in the textures to match my flowers and the scene overall, but I think it was worth it :) EDIT - I've reworked the feet and legs pose; please see re-post - many thanks to Star4mation for pointing out the odd looking feet - I hadn't noticed (too busy with getting everything else right!!!) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Composed and rendered in DS as usual - softening postwork in PSP 9. Lighting by me, with the addition of Pendragon's Ah environment light * Background pic - didi_mc's 'Among the Trees' * Plants - poppies and violets from Transpond's Wildflower Plant Pack, RDNA; Foxglove from RDNA - Modualz series; grasses - Lisa Buckalew's Indian Grass from Daz; mushrooms from ElfDance: Enchanted by Swam and Goldtassel * A3 Character - Anais by pg-graphics * Hair - Kirite Hair by FK Design; texture by Out of Touch from Kirite Shades * Outfit and wings plus 'sparkles' - the wonderful Elf Dance: Enchanted from Swam and Goldtassel - textures tweaked by me to obtain right colours * Butterfly wings - Fairy Wings Deluxe from Daz, texture from Silverleif Studios * Initial 'C' from Jaguarwoman's Butterfly font set ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hope you like it - and many thanks for looking!!! Dear Jill, 1. Great colours - worth the time you took. 2. Great choice of props and truly appreciate your hardwork in putting them in apt places. 3. But most of all, clever geometry! I love the curves, the powerful diagonal, the flourish of that wing and the bend of the flowers! And I love the interplay of textures and patterns giving that detailed look to the picture. How charming!! ^_^ She looks perfectly at home in the midst of the luscious underwood as she would be in any plate of salad... eeerm... i mean... uhh... >.> A very magical and delicate looking faery - gotta love all the colorful background and the "light" tones of her outfit - definitely a very sweet image!! ;)

A beautiful render to be sure!!! One minor point, her feet look a little odd in that pose. (it may be just my eyes, got new varifocal glasses today and I hate them!!!)
