Description

This is an image I put together a while ago for the "Mernac" site....I've used a "para-bomb" for the island...imported the boats..and everything else is postworked in PSP. TFV.

A lovely shot & composition. I especially like the tor island on the right, Idont know why but small features even as simple as this compliment the overall image, especially when some fine detals are also shown. The addition of the boats works well for both scale & also depth & Its good to see that you didnt put them too close up to show that a "wake" is obvious (creating additional work). I like the heavy atmosphere that occludes but just allows glimpses of whats behind. The cloud material looks a bit heavy but I think it gets awaay with it, overall. Really "Ace image" Jeff :-)

Very moody and nice use of colour but I find the clouds are too bright/dominant and distract from the other elements.

One of the best! The only suggestion is to replace the simple Voronoi texture on the moon with some heavy erosion displacement (I think it`s kind of off-balances the whole image)

It's "On The Road" and Kerouac in graphics form. The conflict between the drafted boats and the Watts Tower style of the island is like the Gaudi's Iglesia Familia being torn down and restored in Greenfield Village. There, I finally said it!! Send no ambulances!! This is real!!
