Description

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I have been doing a lot of hiking and exploring and picture taking!!!! The weather is still cooperating and there is only snow at the higher elevations right now. This is a hike my friend and I took about a week ago, right on the Nevada and California border. If you look real close, next to that white tank is a semi truck parked! That should kind of give you an idea of the scale of these mountains. A major highway runs along the bottom called "The Grand Army of the Republic Highway" Total Mileage, 707 from California to Massachusetts. This brings back memories of a few months back when my wife, two daughters and I visited California and Nevada. For us this was the holiday of our lives (due to these fantastic landscapes). Thanks for sharing!

For a sec I thought this was one of those Teragon (sp?) images, it has that sort of dreamy rendered quality about it. Nice! I adore your avatar BTW, so cute!!!

I had to put my glasses on to see that truck, would never have known! I can relate to grabbing the weather while you can, I am a little higher up, LOL! 8-)
