Description

Many children the world over have wondered just how Santa knows if they have been naughty or nice. Finally the secret has been discovered. In this rare image, a special research unit of the International College of Holiday Studies has found the answer. You see here one of Santa's top secret Xmas Pixies. These small and highly intelligent creatures keep tabs of the N or N factor of every child on Earth. While no one is sure how many of these spritely creatures exists, estimates based on number of children observed and NorN accuracy suggest the number to be in the millions. Normally these small pixies are invisible, however this one apparently decided to break with tradition and mug for the camera. Make sure you are nice this year folks, since research suggests that they may also keep tabs on adults.... Okay this one took quite a while to do for such a simple scene. I had some major projlems with pokethrough on her legs so I have to make her actual legs invisible and remove the transparency from her stockings. I am not sure why it was doing this in C5 after the model was imported from poser since it did not have the problem in poser. I would also like to give an enormous thank you to Anniebel for creating the holiday cheer texture pack and making some special ones for those of us who couldn't afford the Pixie Hair package and needed to use another package. In my case I used Quarker's Baby Doll Hair. Also the Elfdance Flirty package from GoldTassel, Swam was perfect for her. After all Xmas Pixies do not get cold. The backdrop was one of the winter cyclorama scenes which I renderd in C5 for more clarity. There was some postwork done in PSP X to soften her a bit and meld her more accurately with the winter scene backdrop. Please leave comments and vote since this is the only way I can keep track of what people like about my work and it helps me improve my renders.

I have done a couple for holiday contests but I am having time issues so I haven't had a chance to get anything new yet. I am working on one now though. It should be up soon.
