Description
Two lion uploads you may wish to visit, the first one is spectacular being a view from underneath the lion, uploaded by Laurence, the other is my previous white lion upload:
Thoiry 6 (Loloe) and my Lion's share for Thanksgiving.
I promised to show the lion couple guarding the bush in which the cubs are hidden - note the lioness almost hidden behind the bush. Hopefully I can photograph the cubs soon and report back. The male measures 5 feet (1.5m) to the top of the fur on his head.

Wow, I just can't get over how muscular this beast is. The size of his front end (all the better to maul you with) huge legs, now it's obvious why he's king of the jungle. Nice touch being able to capture the female behind the bush, amazing work!!

Magnificent capture, Oom Piet. Love the lioness behing the bush. Five feet to the fur on the top of his head!!! That is as tall as me if I pull myself up to my full height... What an unusual photograph, Piet! Such ambiguity. The sky in the distance is overcast, which would indicate no bright sunlight, but we have sunshine in the foreground, along with a lion that is an unusually light biege color/colour. Never saw one like that. This is most remarkable, and quite fascinating. Well done, my friend!

Again I can only say that this male is magnificent and his coloring makes him so appealing. Such a good photo of him and enough to make me wish I could see one like this for myself. But your photo is so good, its almost the same thing.

Be careful when you go out to check on the cubbies. Big White and his wife look to be on the alert. Love your views. I guess that these lions are used to having people around.

these lions seem to be must lighter in color than ones here in zoos. I laughed when I first saw Laurence's upload. the first thing I thought of was Kimarie sneaking in and laying under the lions head
