Description

The Men That Don't Fit In by Robert W. Service There's a race of men that don't fit in, A race that can't stay still; So they break the hearts of kith and kin, And they roam the world at will. They range the field and they rove the flood, And they climb the mountain's crest; Theirs is the curse of the gypsy blood, And they don't know how to rest. Excerpt from a poem by :Robert W. Service terrain, atmosphere and water settings are mine. Surfacing is: 2 layers of my 'grassey surface' one layer (waters edge) of a modified surface created by Oshyan. For this layer I took away all the grass surfaces, the mountain surfaces and changed the colors of the 'veins' to match the mountain face. A challenge for me. The terrain created in Geo Control, using the 'glaciation' as suggested by John, aka WeeLaddie. Worked wonders!!!! thanks tons. My thanks to you all for your continued support, suggestions and tips/tricks. They have helped me tremendously in my constant effort to do better. Enjoy and have a great week, as always, Pat

Roamin' in the gloamin' with a lassie by my side (you knew I was going to say that, didn't you). Your hills look just like the Ochils near Stirling. Beautifully surfaced. And the dreich grey skies of Scotland; it's almost enough to make an expat homesick. I love the forthright, plain-speaking verses of Robert Service.
