My name is David Stringham, and I am 18 years old. I live southwest of the Chicagoland area where I spend my time reading, fishing, and constructing and launching model rockets. I also attend school at Illinois Valley Community College, but IÂ hope to move on from there to study computer gaphics.
I first became interested in CG through a book called Creating 3D Effects for Film, TV, and Games. After this, I continued to read information about CGI and downloaded Autodesk Gmax and MAXON Cinema 4D Demo Version. More recently, I have also begun using Blender3D. I do all types of inorganic modeling and texturing, but I specialize in landscapes and 3D logos.

previous post - "59 minutes? Seems far to long if it's minutes. What render settings are you using?" You say that the prepass took 30 mins. I would not use radiosity for an image like this. Something like this should take seconds to render.

I agree about not using radiosity in an image like this. It really is slowing your render down far too much.
