Description

Mixed Martial Arts is seeing an increase in popularity and is poised to eventually overtake traditional boxing as the premier gladitorial sport. While technically drawing from any martial art form, the primary disciplines are Muay Tai, Greco Roman wrestling, traditional boxing techniques and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. This is an example of the "Triangle Choke" of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

This must hurt... ! ? I think.. Amazing image.. Bravo Since women have the strongest legs in da-world, the (still) standing man should be happy he is only being triangled by a man...

Efron 241, The ideas is that by trapping the head and the arm in a "triangle" of the legs, you can cut off the blood flow to the brain by choking off the carotid artery with your thigh and the shoulder of the opponent. This causes unconsciousness. By pulling down the head and the arm, you can "lock" the triangle in tighter while also causing a choking effect in your opponent.

Very well done! Love the intricacy of the pose and can appreciate the effort involved. Excellent!

Blankfracine, Thank you. I wanted something simple that would look good on a black desktop. That's why I chose the simple black background as well as it's ability to enhance the lighting on the figures. Bovi, Thank you. It took me about three hours of "tweeking" to get the clinch right.
