Description

Geez, what is with me and this Dragonlance kick? I guess that since I found the proper texture for the dragon I'm all hyped up on doing pictures with it! Anyway, this is from the Dragonlance trilogy titled "The War of Souls". This is the dragon overlord Malystryx (Malys) and one of her minions (a dark elf). :)

Really a great image, Fantastic lighting. I'm not that familiar with Dragonlance, but aren't "dark elves" (drow) supposed to be blue-black in skin tone? Doesn't matter, this is a really a cool image.

Superb POV...superb textures and good job on the posing !!! Awesome background also...that yellow glow looks stunning in those caves (someone left his cigarette burning maybe !!!) Excellent job - well done !!!

Thanks everyone!! Thromm: well, it's different from one author to the next (or universe, if you prefer ... lol) ... in the Dragonlance novels, dark elves are just dark because they practice the black arts ... in that world, the term "dark" means "cast out", as they are no longer welcome in their homeland. nods
