Hi This is an excellent photo! I really like the contrast of the flowers which are bright, and the pale butterfly. My photographic club hosts a photo appraisal (in my case a critique) every month and an external judge scores our submissions. Now in my case I sent in a flower (macro). I didn't do so well because I had a small object on the bottom of the image which distracted attention from the main subject. What I learnt was to remove these objects and also try and keep the background consistent. In your image, I would have tried to exclude what looks like a dead flower below the butterfly (Zoom in or crop). Anyway, this is still an excellent shot - and don't let my remarks upset you - I have been conditioned (brainwashed) by my club. I had a photo submitted which was taken on an overcast day. They mentioned that the sky wasn't blue. Yeah right. Anyway - keep up the excellent work!!!! Anton
