Description

Hey Gang. This is another bit from a space adventure I'm working on (should only take 6 or 7 years to finsh!) It's all orginal work, which is why this ships look on the chucky/greeble-zied side. I'm really proud of Sigma Erries though. It's a planet map that I made up using combustion and some features of 3-D max. To get the right atmospheric look, the texture is a two-fold blend; the second is just a semi-transparent that allows the light fog/color bleed through. I'm still working on my cloud patterns. Anybody working with fractuels that comes up with a cloudly-look, please let me know! Thanks for looking and please comment! {P.S. STILL cann't use e-mail, so please send direct}

That planet is beeautyful! It's nice to see a big scene, too; sort of a Cinemascope view. It adds a nice touch of sweep and drama. And never feel bad about nurnies/greebles. There is no such thing as too many nurnies;-)

Great ships. Big ones this time. Looks like a convoy. The planet's nice. I use Flaming Pear LunarCell, but sometimes they don't port well to 3d programs.
