I'm an amateur photographer. My favorite subjects to take pictures of are anything dealing with nature though I do take shots of other things too. BIOI like photography, music, books, tv, science, though I'm hardly a genius at the latter. I have a very questioning mind and want to know how and why things work.
I do have my own computer but I'm not connected to the web so I have to borrow other people's computers to post my pictures. So if I don't comment on or view everyone's pictures it's not that I'm ignoring anyone but my time is very limited.

It is great but I can't help but wonder what it looked like in colour..I bet the greens were stunning!

Lovely photo! I never used IR before. I know the film is particulary scarce here in South Africa - just a few select store stock it. Just wondering, can one emulate this on digital cameras. The film is apparently very light sensitive. Regards

Great shot! Your composition/balance is spot on. Just remember one thing: the vision is more important than color or lack of color -- this is what makes this a successful Photo.

Yes, you can get infrared with a digital. All you have to do is buy an infrared filter to put in front of the lens. They cost around 50.00 dollars.
