Description

(None of the faces have been postworked) Ah, I'm not an expert at lights, but slightly better than beginners. Especially those who stick to the default lighting in Daz, lol! So, till someone is comfortable with lights, here are five of my light sets which I'm going to upload as a freebie soon. I'm struggling with wording the readme file! A freebie for newbies, shortly. Please feel free to request any specific lights before I package them. Experts, any tips? Later: Okay, added two more lights as per requests below. Please tweak the lights a bit to suit individual tastes. Tip: Also tweak the ambience value of your materials to get better effects. Still Later: added 'sunlit' which is a bit stronger than 'strong lights' Latest: As I don't have a site to upload this, please send me an email if you want the lightsets. It's a very small file. YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THIS NOW AT THE FREESTUFF PAGE.

these look great and i'd definitely be interested, particularly if they work in DAZ as Poser ones don't seem to. I'm not sure if this is a lighting one, but i've been struggling to get the effect of someone partly hidden in teh shadows. The 'intrigue' set is close, but i'm trying to work on smething a bit darker, yet can still make out the image? Does that make any sense?

this is a godsend. i've been doing daz for a while but it's hard to get good effects without using more than one set. i'd love to find a set of good moonlights. btw. thanks for taking the time to work on this.

You have been busy with your experimenting, Ashok!! Lighting is often the hardest thing to get right, certainly for me in the beginning - these light sets will be a great help to anyone still struggling along with default lights (which are often too bright, dull, etc). Many thanks on behalf of everyone!!
